Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus and the rest of the beloved “Peanuts” gang will make an advance big-screen debut on 6 December 2015 at 50 selected Event Cinemas, Greater Union and BCC Cinemas nationwide for an excellent cause this year thanks to a special partnership between cinema distributor 20th Century Fox, hospitality and entertainment giant Amalgamated Holdings Limited (AHL) and key children’s hospitals around the country.
This partnership means that not only will cinema goers have the opportunity to see Charlie Brown and Snoopy: The Peanuts Movie a month before everyone else, the proceeds from every ticket sold are being donated directly to children’s hospitals to enhance the treatment and care of sick children around Australia.
This family-friendly movie fundraiser will ensure audiences making the most of this advance-screening will be embarking on a journey with Snoopy, the world’s most lovable beagle and flying ace as he sets off on his greatest mission, taking to the skies to pursue his arch nemesis The Red Baron. All the while his best pal, Charlie Brown, begins his own epic quest. The brain-child of Charles M. Schulz and brought to life by the creators of the ICEAGE films, SNOOPY AND CHARLIE BROWN: THE PEANUTS MOVIE will prove that every underdog has his day.
