It’s official! Spartan Race Australia has announced it’s first ever race in Adelaide!
Spartan Race is the world’s best obstacle race series. No gimmicks, no electric shocks, just a great vibe and exciting obstacles set in truly iconic locations.
Adelaide’s very first event will be held in Paris Creek, about 50 minutes south of the city, on the weekend of August 26 and 27. Along with the 7km Sprint distance (great for first time Spartan racers), the 14km Super distance and the 21km Combo there will be Junior Spartan Races for kids aged 3–8 years and 9–14 years.
Run. Jump. Duck. Climb. Get Muddy!
Our mission is to inspire kids to get out, be active and enjoy themselves. We encourage kids to jump, run, get muddy, help each other and have a good time while conquering obstacles. You’re never too young to set goals and celebrate accomplishing them. It is an epic feeling universal for all ages.
The Spartan Junior Race was created to help young athletes of all athletic abilities foster a life-long commitment to fitness and health. The junior course will have miniature versions of some of the adult obstacles as well as mud and water. These events provide an opportunity for racers to develop and test their fitness in an exciting, outdoor environment where having fun and getting dirty is mandatory!

Racers run, balance, walk, crawl and climb their way through a fun-filled obstacle course that helps them discover how Spartan Strong they really are.
Every Spartan Junior Race participant receives a headband, racer’s t-shirt and medal.
Please note online registration will close at 11:59pm AEST on 22 August 2017. Registration on the day will be available. Kids are allowed to run as many laps of the course as they would like in their 40 minute time frame. Adults may follow along the course and assist their child.
