Sports In Your Backyard – Advice from the Department for Education

Backyard sports can help to get the kids outside and remain active while all community sport is put on hold.  Families are encouraged to get creative, but there are plenty of ways kids can keep up their sports skills and burn off energy in the house or backyard.

The Government of South Australia’s Department for Education has published a list with lots of great new innovative ways to get kids out from behind their screens and start moving. Numerous sports organisations are producing online videos to help kids stay in contact with their sport community.  The videos will also help kids to keep their skills up while they wait for their favourite school and club sports to start up again.
