Salvage & Save – Recycling is Fun!
Looking for something different in the school holidays? Maybe a visit to a Salvage & Save would be of interest. Salvage & Save is a not for profit organisation supporting people with disabilities in 4 locations in SA; Elizabeth, Goolwa, Murray Bridge and Mt Barker. The Retail Recycling shops have something for everyone and browsing is such fun!
School Holiday activities include a competition for all the family to enter to win a Wicking Bed and a colouring competition where you can win a Junk Craft Kit from KESAB for your school.
Win a Wicking Bed competition
Our wicking beds are made from recycled material at a height you can access easily. You will have fresh vegies in your own backyard in no time.

- saves your aching back!
All you have to do to win one is guess the number of items in the wicking bed.
You can also enter a colouring competition to win a Junk Craft kit.
Junk Craft™ Activity Kits from EnviroMethod™ provide a way for manufacturers’ off-cuts that would otherwise be sent to landfill, to be reused for craft activities. By combining the Junk Craft™ off-cuts with items from nature and your own art supplies, you can have fun creating wonderful pieces of theme-based art.

Puzzles, quizzes, recycle hunt, crosswords and more will be part of the fun.
Recycling is fun! If you are looking for something a little different to do this school holidays then put your imagination to work and see what you can upcycle.
There is a Spring Clean Sale at each location during the school holiday so bargains will be available.
Prizes will be awarded at the Salvage & Saves in the second week of the school holidays, dates to be published on their website.
