The festival presents the following family-friendly film for its lineup this year:

The War of the Nonni (La guerra dei nonni)

Rated G

Gerri is a caring and attentive grandfather. He lives with his daughter’s family, helping around the house and taking care of his beloved grandchildren. This idyllic family balance is broken when Grandpa Tom returns to Italy after years living abroad, wanting to spend time with his grandchildren.

Exuberant and boisterous, Grandpa Tom bursts into their lives and upends their routine. He is ready to break every rule established by Grandpa Gerri to fulfill the children’s wishes and win their love and affection. The clash between Gerri and Tom will give rise to a heated competition, resulting in a series of hilarious challenges between grandparents, with no holds barred, plus plenty of twists and turns.
