Stangate House Open Day with Peter Rabbit theme | 23 Jul 2017

Stangate House Open Day with Peter Rabbit theme and activities for children.

Built by Adelaide architect Eric McMichael from plans drawn up in London in 1937-39, Stangate House is a unique heritage property in the heart of Aldgate in the Adelaide Hills.  The 1940’s house is set on four acres and overlooks one of the most beautiful camellia gardens in Australia.

The gardens have been recognised by the International Camellia Society as an International Camellia Garden of Excellence, one of only 3 in Australia and only 30 worldwide. It is also the home of the Camellia Society Adelaide Hills Inc.

On Sunday July 23rd Stangate House will host an Open Day with a Peter Rabbit theme and activities for children.

Cost: $5 entry, children under 14 free and there will be Cornish tea available.
