Summer Nights Outdoor Community Cinema
Enjoy a free movie, live music and food trucks at the City of Holdfast Bay’s Summer Nights Outdoor Community Cinema during the January school holidays.
Head down to Sandison Reserve, Glenelg East with your family at 7.30pm with your low deck chairs, cushions and picnic blankets for an evening under the stars. Grab a bite to eat from two fantastic food trucks organised by Fork on the Road, listen to some tunes by Emilio Lacar then get comfy, grab some popcorn and settle down to watch a great family movie.
Fork on the Road Food Trucks:
- I Love Chips
- Moorish Delights
- Popcorn Cart
Entertainment:
- Emilio Lacar – a solo acoustic musician who plays covers and originals
Movie:
- The family classic Back to the Future will be showing
- Gates open at 7.30pm and the movie will commence at sunset (appox. 8.45pm)
What to bring:
- Picnic blankets, cushions, rugs and low deck chairs
- You are more than welcome to bring your own food and beverages
- Something warm if it’s a chilly night
- Insect repellent
*They don’t recommend you bring your family dog to this event.
The City of Holdfast Bay is committed to providing COVID safe events. There is a capacity limit to the reserve, so arrive early to avoid disappointment. Council staff will mark out spaces for picnic blankets / chairs to be set up. COVID Marshals will be onsite to ensure social distancing is maintained.
