Summer on the Plaza consists of live music, markets, outdoor movies and Shakespeare all on the Marion Cultural Centre Plaza during December and January. The Marion Mega Market will be held on Saturday 14th and 21st of December and there will be local artists playing live each Sunday between 1pm and 4pm. There are two free outdoor movies planned along with free live entertainment during the holidays and a special appearance by The Southern Youth Theatre Ensemble who will perform live on the plaza on Saturday, 25th January at 2pm.
