Tandanya Survival Day
Survival Day is annually delivered on the 26 January and is celebrated throughout the nation.
TANDANYA National Aboriginal Cultural Institute and Port Adelaide Enfield Council continue to partner with the continued support from Drug & Alcohol Services South Australia, to present the South Australian celebration.
Survival Day is an event based upon the principles of community engagement, inclusion and reconciliation. This free event is drug and alcohol free and open and inclusive to all. It has been very successful with support from the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and continues to grow particularly over the past 4 years of the current partnership, sponsorships and location.
The event embraces the whole of community and welcomes and encourages the wider community, friends and families to spend the day together on 26 January 2019 in a family friendly, inclusive and culturally supportive environment.
