The South Australian Children’s Ballet Company proudly presents The Coppelia Tutu.
Be entertained by the Company’s talented young dancers as they perform a modern version of the Coppelia story. You will be taken on a journey from the school library across the globe in this tale of love, mischief and forgiveness. This narrated ballet is highly entertaining and suitable for all ages.
The performance is choreographed by the internationally renown Paul Boyd from the Queensland Ballet Academy. Paul has given the traditional Coppelia story his own magic touch. Set within a school, the students have their mobile phones confiscated and make mischief amongst an international costume display in the library. All the while a love story ensues. The beautiful costumes and dances will take you on a mesmerising journey around the world.
There is the opportunity to meet the cast and take photographs at the last performance of each day (subject to covid restrictions).
