The Gospel According to Earth, Wind & Fire | Gospo | 5 & 6 Jul 2018

After a sell out season at the Adelaide Fringe, Gospo are back! Experience the music of Earth, Wind and Fire in an unmissable vocal extravaganza by musical director, Charmaine Jones as only she knows how!

The Gospel According to Earth, Wind & Fire is a two hour musical tribute to the kings of groove. Audiences will enjoy Earth, Wind & Fire’s most loved hits, reconstructed in Gospo’s signature style for a must see feast for the senses.

Joined by Andrew De Silva, winner of Australia’s Got Talent 2012 and lead singer in the 90’s RnB group CDB, the Jones Commentary, Jones Juniors, The Big Black Kaftans and members of The Gospo Collective (Jackson vs Jackson, Gospolation) will sing their hearts out to entertain and delight audiences over the exclusive two night season.

Charmaine Jones said that audiences will have no choice but to get out of their seats and groove to the tunes from the legendary 70’s band.

It’s such a privilege to arrange music from legends of this calibre. I have merged their tunes with our signature choral/gospel style to create something fresh whilst paying homage to the roots – it’s a totally unique sound.

I am always humbly proud of my singers from all of the ensembles who continue to deliver the most outstanding performance – every time, show after show. This production will be headlined by the Jones Commentary and won’t be any different.

Audiences will hear tunes like: September, Let’s Groove, Fantasy, and After the Love has Gone – you know you won’t need Reasons to get out of your seats and groove all night long!

The Gospel According to Earth, Wind & Fire is off the back of the sold out and 5 star 2018 Adelaide Fringe show, Jackson vs Jackson and is suitable for the entire family, young and old.

The season runs over two nights at the Norwood Concert Hall. The show starts at 7.30pm on both Thursday and Friday night, 5 and 6 July 2018. People are encouraged to get in quick as this exclusive and limited season will sell out.
