Back by popular demand, The South Australian Children’s Ballet Company will perform Paul Boyd’s version of the classic fairy tale, The Little Mermaid, at the Angas Street Arts Theatre during the Spring school holidays.

The stunning and clever choreography, married with fabulous costumes and music, will bring this underworld story to life. Will the beautiful mermaid, Ariel, give up her life in the sea for the love of a human prince, or will the evil Ursula steal her happiness? The programme will also feature Tchaikowsky’s “Autumn Waltz”, Serenade in Blue, and a wonderfully colourful piece, “Be Italian”, choreographed by Natalie Boyd.

We saw this performance last year, after seeing it here on Play & Go. My 7yo daughter, my Mum & myself all very much enjoyed it & would recommend attending. I wouldn’t have known about it if it weren’t for Play & Go, so thank you!
