The Ongals: Babbling Comedy – OzAsia Festival

A smash hit on the international comedy circuit and a favourite for families, this ingenious new comedy performance for children mashes together mime, magic, clowning and music.

Laugh along with The Ongals as they transform seemingly predictable every-day objects into a topsy-turvy beat-box of babbling hilarity.

Everything and nothing will make sense as four fully grown men in babywear juggle their way around the stage in perfectly-timed mayhem!

Who are The Ongals?

The Ongals were the first Asian group to be awarded ‘Director’s Choice’ from their many performances at the British Thames Festival (2012), Swiss Montreux Comedy festival (2014), exclusive performance in Madrid (2014). Plus they’ve received 5-star ratings from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

The main aim of the Korean comedy troupe is to bring laughter to the public by eliminating language barriers allowing anyone and everyone to experience comedy at its best.

the Ongals grab the wide-eyed, exuberant innocence of child’s play and ratchet it up to 11.
