The FARM Centre has announced their first ever Touch A Truck day.
On Sunday 19 March 2023 The FARM Centre in Freeling will turn into a funhouse of machinery where kids can get up close and personal with their favourite trucks to see how they work.
They’ll have over 20 different trucks at the event including farm machinery, Light Regional Council machinery, bobcats, emergency services vehicles and lots more for kids to see. They will also have plenty of kids entertainment including jumping castles, face painting, petting zoo and more.
The Farm Centre will also have a ‘sensory friendly zone‘ from 1pm – 2pm for children with special needs. During this time the event will be a quiet zone with no honking of horns or loud music. They will also have a sensory room dedicated for anyone with special needs.
Their friends from Feros Care will be cooking up a free sausage sizzle and The FARM Centre cafe will be fully stocked.
About The FARM Centre
The Freeling community built The FARM Centre which stands for Freeling, Agriculture, Recreation and Multi-Use Centre. They are the hub of activity for everyone in Freeling and surrounding regions.
Their facilities include a main trades and sports hall with two basketball courts and run off areas. Training and meeting rooms for agricultural extension and community use. A 24/7 health club, two large change rooms for male and female sport. A cafe, kitchen, canteen and parents room.
