The Port Lincoln Tunarama Festival is one of Australia’s largest and most popular free regional festivals held annually over the Australia Day long weekend. It is also home of the World Championship Tuna Toss!
This family friendly festival is held on the foreshore of Port Lincoln’s Boston Bay. The picturesque lawns stage a three day event including stalls, sideshows, rides as well as fun events, activities and competitions for all ages.
Sample delicious food with the region’s best seafood and enjoy art, music, people and the beautiful surroundings.
This year’s entertainment line up includes a fireworks sky show, Cool 4 Kids, Boomstars along with a Teddy Bear Parade.
The much anticipated annual World Championship Tuna Toss competition is the highlight of the festival. Competitors attempt to fling a fish weighing between 8 and 10 kilograms as far as they can!
