Westpac City-Bay Fun Run presented by Sunday Mail
The 2020 48th Westpac City-Bay Fun Run presented by Sunday Mail has been deferred to Sunday 8th November 2020.
The focus of Adelaide’s City-Bay Fun Run is always on the health of participants, volunteers and employees, and this will continue to be of primary importance in 2020. They are continually monitoring the state of affairs and are in close contact with the relevant Federal and State Governments Departments and they will continue to work closely with these agencies in the lead up to this year’s event to ensure they have access to the latest advice in relation to COVID-19.
An iconic event in South Australia, each year thousands of participants run, walk, dance or wheelchair their way to the Bay. 2020 will be a little different, and there are always the serious athletes, but overwhelmingly the majority of people are there for the fun. There will be people dressed up supporting charities or advertising local groups and businesses. As you proceed down the course you soak up the roadside entertainment and the encouragement of fellow participants or by-standers.
It has been noted in recent months more people have been focusing on their health and have commenced running to keep fit and mentally healthy. Every new runner or walker will be welcome to the event this year and they know that runners new and old will have fun.
