Enjoy a weekend of family fun with show rides, camel & pony rides, food trucks, live music, market stalls, fireworks and an almond inspired cookery competition at the annual Willunga Almond Blossom Festival.
This annual winter community fundraiser held on the last weekend in July will celebrate with entertainment for the whole family. Enjoy local live musicians, childrens’ shows in the big white marquee all weekend and the annual fireworks display on the Saturday night. Join their circus performers, pet the animals and shop at the market stalls.
Little wizards and fairies can join the Children’s Potion Play Party and create their own blossom potion in the new magical tipi, hosted by the blossom fairies from @arts_bynature. Free from 11am – 4pm Saturday and Sunday. Bookings are essential – BOOK HERE
Discover Willunga’s almonds with almond cooking demonstrations, “Meet the Growers” and an almond cracking competition on the Sunday. Once again, they will host a range of delicious food, wine and beer stalls. Whether you want real ‘carnie food’, wood fired pizza, burgers, simple healthy snacks or Asian dishes, you will find them all at the festival.
Listen to local, live musicians performing on stage and there will be children shows in the big white marquee all weekend.
A variety of market stalls will be located in the Festival Hall and around the oval with a diverse range of displays including handmade woollen products, cards, candles and jewellery. Clothing includes beanies and scarves to complement your winter wardrobe. Plus there will be fresh baked cakes, preserves, biscuits, plants and much more.
On the Saturday night the Fleurieu Peninsula’s oldest and most spectacular fireworks display starts at 7pm (weather permitting).
