Wonder Park – Movie Review | In Cinemas 11 Apr 2019

Play & Go Movie Review (April 2019)

This colourful film brings us a story about the power of imagination and the love of family. You can expect plenty of action and witty jokes complimenting a visually engaging movie experience. Even our very own Fitzy and Wippa make an appearance, voicing a couple of the amusement park’s furry residents.

We begin by being introduced to June, a young girl with a real knack for all things STEM. Together with her mother, they create the magical word of Wonderland, where, even the seemingly impossible can be done.  Whilst exciting and funny, Wonder Park also tells the tale of a family dealing with some pretty difficult life challenges. A few tear-jerker moments here so a couple of tissues wouldn’t go astray.

Using her passion for innovation, June’s go-get-‘em attitude will surely inspire the kids to get their creative juices flowing.

This is probably an outing better suited to the older kids who still enjoy their animated films. It’s not all fun rides and talking animals, so just be prepared for the movie’s heavier aspects before you take your seat and tuck into that popcorn.
