Glendi Greek Festival 2016
Glendi is an annual festival that celebrates all things Hellenic.
Glendi Greek Festival returns to the heart of Adelaide’s picturesque parklands, Bonython Park on 26 & 27 November 2016.
Glendi will be a fun-filled weekend of music, dance, art and culture – not to mention mouth-watering Greek food and sweets. So if you are seeking a weekend of family fun at arguably one of South Australia’s original food and wine festivals, be sure to save the date.
Glendi is very proud to be supporting the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia as its 2016 Charity Partner. The Prostate Cancer Foundation is dedicated to reducing the impact of prostate cancer on Australian men, their partners and families.
We’re really excited about Glendi 2016. We hope you are too. And we look forward to celebrating SA’s biggest Hellenic weekend with you!
Entertainment
Glendi has consistently delivered a fantastic entertainment offering over the years. 2016 will be no exception with many fun filled acts and performances planned and something for everyone to enjoy.
Being a festival focussed on family fun, there will lots for the children to see and do.
And it wouldn’t be a Greek ‘party’ without live Greek music. There will be local musicians on hand to showcase the best of Greek music and we are again very pleased that we will have an international Greek singer to entertain visitors on both Saturday and Sunday evening. Kelly Kelekidou and her band will be performing on both Saturday and Sunday night… so be sure to bring your dancing shoes.
Food
Glendi is synonymous with food. This year will be no exception with a variety of stallholders offering an extensive selection of mouth-watering foods and sweets. Be sure to taste a little bit of Greece at Glendi 2016.
