National Patio Day
Proudly supported by Stratco, National Patio Day is a chance to kick-start summer in style by hosting an event with your family and friends under your favourite patio while raising vital funds to support those affected by cancer.
In 2019, the National Patio Day event will be held on the first Saturday of summer (Saturday 7 December), however if you can’t host an event on the day, you can host any time throughout summer. It is the chance to celebrate summer in style by hosting an event with your family and friends under your favourite patio and raise vital funds to support those affected by cancer.
By hosting or attending an event anywhere in Australia, you will help Cancer Council continue their life-saving cancer research, prevention, advocacy and support programs for people affected by cancer.
In its inaugural year, National Patio Day hopes to recruit 2,000 hosts and raise critical funds to help all Australians impacted by cancer. Through hosting an event on National Patio Day, you are not only supporting Australians impacted by cancer, you are also raising awareness of the importance of sun protective behaviours whenever the UV is 3 and above.
As a host, every $50 you raise puts you in the draw to win a Hafele Alfresco kitchen valued at $5,000. You could also win 1 of 6 $500 Stratco gift cards to deck out your outdoor living area.
