Adelaide Animal Expo | Adelaide Showground | 27 & 28 Jun 2026

The annual Adelaide Animal Expo is returning to Adelaide Showground in 2026 with plenty of animals to see, touch and cuddle, a kids activity zone and a large walk through animal nursery.

There will be hundreds of animals for kids to see including rabbits, dogs, cats, poultry, birds, ferrets, rats, reptiles, snakes, mini horses, ponies and more.

There will also be a large snake and reptile area, a dog grooming competition, pet products, agility and dances with Dog Demos.

Visitors will be able to talk with breeders at the dog breed area and cat breed displays plus gain additional pet advice from leading animal experts.

Animals Anonymous will be hanging out at this year’s Adelaide Animal Expo so visitors can explore their huge Australian Wildlife display and get up close with everything from Monitors and Bearded Dragons to Geckos and even Crocodiles. It’s your chance to get up close and learn about amazing Aussie reptiles and even give them a pat!

Dockdogs Australia is making its first splash into Adelaide at the 2026 Adelaide Animal Expo. You’ll see the world’s most explosive sport on 4 legs and for the first time ever be able to witness incredible dogs of all breeds, mixes, and sizes launch from a giant 1.5m high 11m long stage into a giant 100,000L pool in the action-packed world of DockDogs®.  From first-time jumpers to seasoned internationally ranked champions, you’ll see amazing athleticism, huge splashes, and plenty of wagging tails.
