Husik Instagrammable ‘jiggly’ bunny desserts are just one of the reasons to visit Husik Dessert House in Adelaide.
Are you ready to “jiggle jiggle”? Husik has brought a Korean sweets trend to Adelaide: a bunny-shaped milk pudding that jiggles, and they now have a permanent venue in the city.
Following the closure of their pop-up venue in Goodwood, Husik re-opened in their permanent location in the city in August 2024. Open from Wednesday to Sunday for walk-ins only (they don’t take bookings) Husik also now offers takeaway too.
They’ve got a full range of drinks and coffee available as well as their dessert menu. Unfortunately, their Jiggle Jiggle Milk Pudding and Butter toast aren’t available for takeaway (updated September 2024).

Instagrammers have been loving filming the novelty dessert at the Goodwood nightspot Husik – meaning “after meal” in Korean, though it’s like striking gold if you get a bunny!
As it says on Husik’s page, the staff only make “20 serves a day, divided into two batches – 7pm and depends. It’s first come, first served. Once sold out, it’s sold out. No holds for the pudding.”
It’s also “one serve per table for a fair distribution … even in a big group.”
Which makes it even more fun if you snare one!

The ‘tosuni’ bunny comes in two different flavours – original milk or earl grey with condensed milk. (For the original milk pudding, you can have a choice of syrups with it, including strawberry, condensed milk, citrusy yuja, and matcha.) The pudding tastes a bit like panna cotta but creamier.
Since opening in December 2023, it’s been fully booked every night, care of its yummy range of Asian-inspired desserts.
The pop-up’s run by Jeni Cheung, plus sisters HaeAh Lee and JinAh Lee, who also own Hello Stranger café. It’ll be open until early March 2024.
Other dessert options at the eatery include a ‘moffle’ or mochi waffle. (‘Mochi’ is a Japanese cake made of glutinous rice.) There’s a brown sugar boba version on the menu (with bubble tea ‘pearls’ and salted cheese milk foam), and matcha green tea, and strawberry-Nutella options.
We skipped the matcha one due to the caffeine component. My boys, however, loved the Nutella and brown sugar varieties so much, they (embarrassingly) licked their plates.
‘Snowflake milk bingsus’ are also big on the menu. ‘Bingsu’ is a milk-based Korean shaved ice dessert, doused in sweet toppings. We tried the ‘injeolmi’ one, comprising Korean ricecake with soybean powder, red bean paste, and almond flakes. (Please note: the ricecakes contain peanuts.)
Other bingsu flavours include strawberry, matcha, and chocolate. Our serving size was so generous, we couldn’t even finish one between us. It’d be perfect for a super-hot summer’s night.
Last on the menu is a matcha tiramisu with matcha mascarpone, and fresh and dried strawberries. We had to skip this one, unfortunately, as we didn’t want the kids staying up all night! But we can bet it’s delicious.
The drinks, meanwhile, include hot and cold teas and lattes, plus soda. We tried a black sesame latte (an acquired taste) and a butterfly pea flower yuja soda (colourful and sweet).
As its tagline says, sweet dreams are made of late-night desserts!
