Swedish Midsummer is a time like no other in Sweden – a time when families and friends gather in the countryside to celebrate life, love and happiness with a large meal, singing and dancing. IKEA Adelaide are holding a Midsummer Weekend (yes, during the middle of winter!) with a range of activities on offer.
Visit the Adelaide IKEA store between 12pm and 3pm for Midsummer festivities such as traditional Swedish food tasting under the May pole, or come and try some of the great food on offer in the Swedish Food Market.
They will also have creative craft activities for children from 11am until 3pm.
Remember there’s always IKEA’s Playland for 3 to 7 year olds too!
IKEA are also hosting a Midsummer Buffet on Friday June 20th. This will be a traditional Swedish buffet in the IKEA Restaurant, complete with authentic Swedish food, music and give-aways.
For ticket prices and more information about these events visit the IKEA Adelaide website.
