The Active Community Cup
The Active Community Cup is an annual walking and running event, managed by Life Be in it and supported by the City of Onkaparinga. People of all ages and abilities are invited to commit to being active every Wednesday from 12 October to 30 November, to improve their personal fitness and wellbeing.
Active Community Cup details
You can register a team with family, friends or workmates, or take on the challenge as an individual with the option of a 2, 4, 6, or 8km course.
All course distances will start and finish at the Christies Beach Surf Life Saving Club and entrants can participate any time between 6am and 7pm each Wednesday with week eight being the presentation and fun run/walk.
A total of eight awards are available and it’s not just about being the fastest – there are also awards for most improved individuals and teams.
In 2015 the Cup attracted 200 local participants in 77 teams. In 2016 organisers are hoping the switch from winter to spring and the introduction of sunrise to sunset, participation times will encourage more people to get involved.

Individual $35 | team of up to five $130 | family team $110 | concessions receive $4 off
All entrants receive a free t-shirt when registered by Wednesday 12 October 2016.
