Adelaide 36ers move to Adelaide Entertainment Centre
The Adelaide 36ers will call the Adelaide Entertainment Centre home for the 2019-20 season and beyond, in a coup for South Australian basketball.
The Sixers’ move to the new venue catapults basketball to a central stage allowing larger crowds to watch the sport in a location that is easily accessible by public transport.
Adelaide 36ers owner Grant Kelley has seen first-hand the effect larger venues have on the evolution and growth of NBL clubs in other cities, having attended every NBL venue over the last two years.
In an elite sport like basketball, big home crowds help to win games. We want to deliver what other clubs are doing interstate and the Adelaide Entertainment Centre is the ideal home for the Adelaide 36ers to continue to evolve and grow as a club, for both our fans and players.
Titanium Security Arena will remain the Adelaide 36ers’ administration and training base, as well as play host to at least one practice match a year.
The Adelaide 36ers will provide regular updates about membership and ticketing to members and fans, to ensure a smooth transition.
You can register your interest now to secure your seat at the Adelaide 36ers’ new home, the Adelaide Entertainment Centre. Prospective members will simply need to put down a $20 deposit to secure a seat for the 2019-20 season, which will be deducted from the membership fee once membership is open to the general public.
Please note, this process does not apply to 2018-19 members. Pre-existing members’ seats will remain reserved during the renewal process.
