Adelaide Cup Day is a long-standing South Australian tradition centred on the Sportsbet Adelaide Cup horse racing event at Morphettville Racecourse, which blends thrilling racing with entertainment and activities for all ages.
As well as racing action on the track, around the racecourse you’ll also find roaming performers, juggling acts, dancers and DJs, plus free rides on the iconic Ferris Wheel and plenty of food and treats.
Kids under 17 receive free entry and there’s a Family Zone with activities such as petting zoos, face-painting, jungle sports and free fairy floss, making it a day out the whole family can enjoy.
Ticket options range from General Admission (family friendly) to the First Class Lounge (some areas are 18+ only). Entertainment at this year’s event incudes The Jungle Giants (DJ Set) and Shannon Noll.
Enjoy the public holiday trackside with a picnic, BBQ, or games in the park with family and friends and make the most of the March long weekend.
