Looking for something exciting to do these school holidays? AVCon is Adelaide’s biggest anime and gaming festival, taking over the Adelaide Showground for an unforgettable weekend of fun, creativity, and excitement for the whole family.
It might just be the best value family day out in Adelaide too. Children aged 12 and under receive FREE entry with a paying adult, and there’s a dedicated Kids Zone packed with activities designed to keep young fans entertained for hours. Enjoy free face painting, build amazing LEGO® creations, craft high quality props from sturdy cardboard and decorate them to take home, or create and customise your own clay Poké Ball. The team from West Torrens Library will also be on hand with video games, board games, arts and crafts, manga, music, and plenty more to discover.
Once you’ve explored the Kids Zone, the rest of AVCon awaits! Experience spectacular K Pop performances, incredible cosplay, talented artists, unique exhibitors, community groups, tabletop gaming, and an enormous 7,500 square metres of free play video gaming. Jump into the latest next generation consoles, discover retro classics, challenge your friends in arcade games, try virtual reality experiences, test your rhythm in music games, and play exciting games created by local South Australian developers.
