Barossa History Fair 2022
Enjoy a day at the Barossa History Fair, held in the Angaston Town Hall during South Australia’s History Festival.
Discover and celebrate the unique history and cultural heritage of the Barossa region on Sunday 1 May. Enjoy activities for the whole family – attend a Welcome to Country, browse heritage displays and demonstrations and take part in a family scavenger hunt with some great prizes on offer – participants need to collect answers from ten stops around Angaston.
Watch the Victoriana Society promenade in authentic costumes and riders from the Barossa Light Horse Historical Association, dressed in replica uniforms, on their mounts.
Visit the Barossa Machinery Preservation Society Shed to see wonderfully restored vintage vehicles and see the sparks fly at the Angaston Blacksmith Shop & Museum. Listen to expert advice and assistance on historical research, plus information about tours and walks in the Barossa region.
Stay to play at the Barossa Adventure Station and enjoy a sausage sizzle.
Entry is $5 for adults. Bookings not required.
