New Pathway – Bluestone Mount Barker
A beautiful part of Mount Barker received a new shared path in December 2021 thanks to Mount Barker District Council and Bluestone Mt Barker.
As part of a 6km network through Bluestone, a new 1.5km section of trail is now open, connecting to a 3km trail that goes directly to the town centre. The shared pathway, which connects existing and new residential areas, provides a safe and scenic path that will also reduce travel time. This allows residents to safely get to shops, schools and other neighbouring communities.
The new pathway is absolutely beautiful with its mature gums and greenery which will encourage people to get out in the open air and enjoy their beautiful surrounds.
