Environment Expo | Tusmore | 2 May 2026

The Enviro Expo 2026 will be a day of sustainability, nature, hands-on learning, creativity and fun at Burnside Civic Centre. 

Entry is FREE and everyone is welcome to walk in and enjoy the event. However, some events require registration to secure your spot. The keynote speaker for 2026 will be much-loved gardening expert and environmental advocate Costa Georgiadis. Costa will share his infectious passion for the environment through engaging talks and a practical workshop, inspiring people of all ages to take positive action for a greener future.

Highlights of the program include:

  • Keynote Speaker: Costa Georgiadis from Gardening Australia.
  • Sustainable Fashion Market – explore unique eco-friendly fashion in the Burnside Ballroom.
  • Environment Awards – 2026 Winners announced.
  • Reduce, Reuse and Recycle Zone – discover what to do with waste.
  • ‘Touch a Truck’ – experience and free nature face painting for kids!
  • Critters and Creatures Zone – enjoy an interactive experience with bugs and slugs and native animals and see a live performance titled ‘Herding Caterpillars’ produced by Butterfly Conservation SA.
  • ‘Gardening Hub’ – Learn tips and tricks to start your own sustainable garden.
  • Activities in the Library – Storytime, VR experience and author talk.
  • Native Plant Giveaway – Join us for the launch of Burnside’s annual giveaway.

With activities for kids, native animal experiences, face painting, great food, interactive art, a sustainable fashion market, live experiences and plenty of eco-friendly ideas to take home, the Enviro Expo is a must-attend event for anyone interested in sustainability, community and climate-positive living.
