Celebrate Harmony Week in the City of Salisbury | 16-20 Mar 2026
The City of Salisbury is delighted to recognise and celebrate Harmony Week across a number of locations with the local community.
The city will offer a great range of Harmony Week themed events and programs for all ages that will be held throughout the week of 16 to 20 March 2026 to celebrate the cultural diversity in City of Salisbury, including a special family friendly event on Friday 20 March at the Salisbury Community Hub and Salisbury Civic Plaza (Inparrinthi Kumangka).

Harmony Week Community Celebration – 20 March 2026
Celebrations run from 10 am to 2 pm, with market stalls and entertainment from 9.30 am. Families can look forward to:
- a special visit from Bluey
- free henna (11am to 1pm), face painting and balloon twisting
- kids crafts and creative activities
- Spanish sing and dance-along performances with Miss Val and her Amigos
- a colourful intercultural parade and live cultural performances throughout the day
- delicious food and cultural market stalls to explore together.
With music, movement and plenty of hands-on fun for the kids, Harmony Week is set to be a joyful celebration of culture, connection and community for all ages in the City of Salisbury.
“Orange is the colour chosen to represent Harmony Week. Traditionally, orange signifies social communication and meaningful conversations. It also relates to the freedom of ideas and encouragement of mutual respect. Australians can choose to wear something orange during Harmony Week to show their support for cultural diversity and an inclusive Australia.”
