Meet the Eastern Hub Trainers
Trainer Natalie is a Cirkidz Troupe graduate who has been practicing her circus craft for over 10 years. Her favourite skills to teach and perform include tissue, hula and unicycle.
Trainer Maria is a gymnastics coach with a passion for circus! She has over 20 years experience teaching gym and Kindergym and loves the non-competitive nature of circus.
Circus is not only fun, it’s also really good for you!
A recent study by the University of South Australia (Cirkidz in Schools 2015) has revealed a direct link between the participation in circus activities and the increase of motivation and engagement of children. The participants involved in regular circus training by Cirkidz improved their level of motivation to attend school and engage in learning as well as plan and manage school work.
“It is well understood that remaining in school and getting a good education is a prerequisite for a good and healthy life. Ensuring children remain motivated and engaged in learning is a key.” – Dr Richard McGrath, Health Sciences, UniSA.
