Bike Park in Clare’s Melrose Park constructed by The Trail Collective in collaboration with the Clare & Gilbert Valley Council.
Nestled in the heart of the picturesque Clare Valley, just 90 minutes north of Adelaide, Clare Bike Park is a fantastic destination for families who love to ride. Surrounded by rolling vineyards, charming country towns and some of South Australia’s best wineries, galleries and attractions, it’s the perfect place to combine outdoor adventure with a day exploring the region.
The bike park has undergone an exciting transformation thanks to the passion of the local Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) and funding secured by the Clare & Gilbert Valleys Council. Following extensive community consultation, the upgraded design received overwhelming support, with 84% of respondents backing the vision for the new-look park.
Now catering for riders of all skill levels, Clare Bike Park features exciting jump lines for more experienced riders, a beginner-friendly pump track for those just starting out, and an improved start mound to build confidence and skills. The upgrades also include new seating, improved signage and practical facilities to help keep bikes in top condition.
Whether you’re introducing the kids to BMX riding or looking for a fun stop while exploring the Clare Valley, Clare Bike Park is a fantastic place for families to get active, build confidence and enjoy the great outdoors.
