The Koinobori Project | Come and make a Koinobori
The Koinobori Project is a project to conduct workshops at Adelaide schools to create 100 koinobori (Japanese carp-streamers). The koinobori will be flown in Victoria Square/Tartanyangga from 20th – 26th April 2015 and will then be displayed at Kodomo no Hi Japan Festival on Sunday 3rd May at Cowandilla Primary School.
Come & Make a Koinobori
Open to the general public, bring the kids along to Victoria Square/Tartanyangga on Sunday, 26 April 2015 between 11am and 2pm and make a paper koinobori to take home. While you are there enjoy the sight of more than 100 koinobori painted by Adelaide schools. Children can also help to colour in some of the larger cloth koinobori that will be sent to Japan.
