City of Port Adelaide Enfield have unfortunately, due to the extreme weather forecast across the weekend, made the difficult decision to CANCEL Dockside Festival 2023. The safety of our community, participants, and staff is our top priority, and after careful consideration, we’ve had to make this tough decision. We understand the excitement and anticipation you’ve had for this event, and we were just as excited as you. However, the severe weather forecast on land, and especially on water, poses too great a risk, and ensuring everyone’s safety is our utmost concern.
Dockside Festival 2023 – See the Port come to life for an exciting weekend of sport, community and cultural activations, food, entertainment and more.
A free, family-friendly, maritime adventure in the heart of Port Adelaide, Dockside is a waterside extravaganza where the refreshing river breeze mingles with the laughter of families, friends, and maritime enthusiasts alike at a festival like no other.
There will be South Australian seafood and drinks, handmade markets, live music, street art, amusements, rides, water sports, and much more. Dockside is your passport to a memorable experience, celebrating the rich maritime heritage that has shaped the Port and local coastal communities, coupled with the colour, quirkiness, and creativity that is Port Adelaide.
Opening Hours:
- Saturday 9 December 2023 | 10am – 5pm (with the Seafood Market, Wharfie’s Tavern, amusement rides, sideshows, and carnival food trucks open until 9pm)
- Sunday 10 December 2023 | 10am – 5pm
Dockside Festival takes place on McLaren Wharf Promenade on the waterfront in the heart of historic Port Adelaide. The main entrance to the site will be on McLaren Parade.
