Eden Valley & Springton Playgrounds Official Opening Event | 7 Dec 2025

You’re invited to join the official community opening events of the new Eden Valley and Springton Playgrounds.

The event will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10am at the Eden Valley playground before everyone heads to the Springton playground for an 11am ceremony and sausage sizzle. 

The Playground at Murray Recreation Caravan and Recreation Park, Eden Valley has received a refresh, with new opportunities for play and connection. There has also been an upgrade to the basketball court, improved landscaping, upgraded pathways and natural play features.

Springton Playground has also recently received an upgrade including brand-new play equipment. There is also now a new BBQ, extra fencing, new landscaping, upgraded footpaths and natural play features.

Both playgrounds have introduced inclusive communication signage to allow visitors to engage more easily with individuals who use alternative communication methods, such as Auslan.
