For over 40 years, Something on Saturday has enchanted thousands of children with memorable live performances and craft workshops. This family favourite is a year-round program of carefully curated events especially for young people. From performances to exhibitions and hands on arts and crafts, this is every child’s chance to experience the transformative world of the arts.

Here’s a few things to note if you’re visiting with children:
Parenting Facilities: Parenting rooms and baby change facilities are available in the Festival Theatre and Dunstan Playhouse foyers.
Food and Drink: Treats and healthy kids’ meals are available from venue cafes and bars, subject to availability.
Supervision: Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Children under 12 months do not require a ticket when seated on parent or guardian laps.
Children’s University: The Children’s University gives the stamp of approval to all Something on Saturday shows.
