The second annual Festival of Halloween is heading back to Adelaide in October, this time in a different venue.

The festival is designed to be a family-friendly event, ensuring that everyone, from the youngest trick-or-treaters to the most dedicated Halloween fans, has a memorable experience.  The event will be organised for the second year running by Adelaide haunt operator and Halloween aficionado Stasia Read and Hallozween founder and editor-in-chief Andrea Beattie on the Saturday of the October long weekend (official date for Halloween is 31 October).

The festival will feature a Halloween market with 30+ stallholders selling spooky or Halloween-inspired goods, and they’ll also have a new and improved mini-haunt experience, DIY workshops, craft activities and kids’ haunt, extended trick or treat trail (under 18s), cosplay and costume competitions, spot prizes, scare actors, Halloween photo ops, food trucks and more.

Tickets: $15 adults, $13 concession, $10 kids (aged 5-17 years) and under 5 free.  Family Ticket Special (2 Adults + 2 Kids aged 5–17) $40

Session Times:

  • 10am – 1pm
  • 12.30pm – 3.30pm
  • 3pm – 6pm
