On Sunday 17 December Light Square is set to come alive with Christmas cheer.
Over 1,000 people are expected to attend Adelaide West End’s biggest free Greaton Christmas in the Park 2017 event. Proceeds will be donated to The Salvation Army’s Tree of Hope Appeal.
Join in for a day that will bring Christmas cheer to the Adelaide West End. The day promises something fun for everyone.
For kids there’ll be giant waterslides and ferris wheel, face painting and glitter tattoos, a santa stage show and jumping castle.
For adults there’s a pop up wine bar, an array of food, beverages and gift stalls and live entertainment.
The Salvation Army Tree of Hope, standing proudly at six metres, will be placed near the main entrance of the event for gifts and nonperishable food item donations. The public are invited to purchase gifts at the event to place under the tree, or bring gifts from home.
Kids’ rides are by a gold coin donation and the Rotary BBQ is $2 gold coin fee. BBQ donations will go to Rotary West End.
So pop it in your calendar, grab your gold coins, deck chairs and picnic blankets and enjoy city life outdoors this Christmas in Light Square.
