Hugh Johnson Boulevard Reserve
Hugh Johnson Boulevard Reserve in Sheidow Park has undergone a $1.6 million dollar upgrade and will be officially opened to the public on Sunday 28 August 2022 by the Mayor of Marion, Kris Hanna and the South Australian Minister for Planning, the Hon Nick Champion MP.
You’ll get to enjoy a free sausage sizzle, face painting in the Enchanted Forest and ‘Come and Try’ sessions for soccer, basketball and netball. Go and join the fun, exploring all this reserve has to offer. Take your bike and test out the new pump track. Challenge yourself on the adventure playground. Try out the new fitness equipment or take a walk through the reserve and find all the hidden treasures.
Parking will be limited so it is encouraged that participants walk, ride or scoot to the opening. You can also bring your water bottles to fill at one of the water stations.

There is also a junior play space and an ‘Enchanted Forest’ nature play area, complete with animal sculptures and a magic cauldron.
