ISPS Handa Women’s Australian Open
The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Tour returns to Adelaide for the third consecutive year, this time to the magnificent Kooyonga Golf Club.
After the raging success of the event’s return to Adelaide in the past two years, the ISPS Handa Women’s Australian Open, one of Australia’s premier sports events, will be played at Kooyonga Golf Club from the 15 – 18 February 2018. A host of international stars are confirmed including Lydia Ko, Brooke Henderson, So Yeon Ryu and Cristie Kerr, as well as Australian champions Karrie Webb, Minjee Lee, Su Oh, Sarah-Jane Smith, Hannah Green and Katherine Kirk.
The famous venue has hosted many unforgettable tournaments in its storied history, so it’s only fitting that the world’s leading female golfers will stride its storied fairways in competition for a share of the US $1.3million tournament purse. The LPGA Tour’s role will again ensure the world’s best players will be on show in South Australia.
Defending champion Ha Na Jang has already signed to compete – and that’s just the start of the cavalcade of stars who’ll be on hand in Adelaide. Expect brilliance when you go to see the stars live!
