Jenny’s Bakery – an iconic Adelaide bakery

81 Glen Osmond Road, Eastwood & 166 The Parade, Norwood

You know a good bakery when you see a constant line-up at the door on weekends. These are people in the know. Inside the doors of the character building is a spectacular and mouth-watering display of baked goods.

Jenny’s Bakery is renowned for it’s special cronuts (the combination of a croissant and a donut) which they constantly create different flavours and themes. Flavours include Lemon Meringue, Milo, Tim Tam, CaraMilk, Mars Bar, Violet Crumble, Nutella, Peanut Butter Jelly just to name a few. You don’t need to drive all the way to Port Elliot to line up for a delicious special donut. These are amazing.

On one of our visits, they had Caramello Koala cronuts. This signature cronut is filled with a milk chocolate custard and house made caramel, topped with a caramel fondant and a Caramello Koala (pictured above). Below are Kit Kat Chocolate Donuts.

Below are some of our favourite treats like Chocolate Eclair, Coffee Eclair, Chocolate Salted Caramel Tart, Banana Caramel Tart, Chocolate & Raspberry Brownie and Cannoli.

On the savoury side, we also love their Chicken & Mushroom Quiche, Quiche Lorraine and variety of pies.

There are tables and chairs to eat there, as well as coffee and cold drinks. If taking away your treats, Jenny’s put them carefully into lovely boxes for you to transport them home.

Good news for those in the East – Jenny’s Bakery has opened (November 2023) a second bakery  at 166 The Parade, Norwood. It’s in the laneway to Coles from The Parade (Dillons Bookshop is on the corner), just near Boost Juice.
