The Kapunda & Light Agricultural Show is on again in 2025 on the last weekend in October.
The 168th Kapunda & Light Agricultural Show will be a fun filled day of competitions, entertainment and tasty treats for the whole family. There is plenty to do for all ages including entertainment such as rides and musicians, stalls, and displays.
The Show promotes community involvement as well as bringing together a community through fun competitions whilst showcasing their rural living. This event features competitions including horse jumping, hack and harness, yard dogs, agricultural produce, flowers, handicrafts and a lot more.
The General Show Day is Saturday 25 October 2025 and Horses In Action is on both Saturday and Sunday 26 October 2025.
Tickets available through membership or at the gate.

The Kapunda Show was founded in 1857 with the aim to promote agricultural, horticultural and related resources of the Kapunda & Light District. Kapunda is approximately 75kms from Adelaide and is proud to have Australiaโs first copper mine which closed in 1877. When the mines closed the town became a thriving pastoral area and later the home of noted cattle king, Sir Sidney Kidman, who was instrumental in putting Kapunda on the map with his famous horse sales.
