Limbo – The Return: Adelaide Fringe 2024
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A non stop, high-energy theatrical experience that once again lives up to the Limbo hype!
Limbo – The Return is a reimagining of the original Limbo production that premiered in The Garden 10 years ago. This dramatic cabaret circus spectacle features an exhilarating mix of acrobatics, singing and dancing, aerial performances and heart-pounding live music. Although rated M (suitable for 15+), this show is probably best suited to an adults only night out (book the babysitter!).
The music is loud (and features an air-horn on repeat!!) and right from the opening scene you will be captivated by the stage presence of each and every performer. From a fast tempo tap dancing routine to a gravity-defying spectacle on bendable poles, the upbeat pace of the show continues from one set to the next. There’s crowd participation and the artists move freely in-between the rows of seats between acts.
The talent of each artist on show is impressive, each one an absolute pro in executing their skills on stage with humour and a cheeky demeanour.
Highlights of the night included a seductive fire performance and an amazing slack rope routine.
Limbo – The Return is presented by Australia’s Stru & Fret, who in previous years have brought us Fringe hits such as Blanc de Blanc, The Party and The Purple Rabbit.
