Little Picassos: School Holiday Classes & Events | Glenelg, Hyde Park, Magill | Review

Little Picassos run a variety of art classes throughout the year, from ongoing term-based classes to single drop-in (or drop-and-go for older kids) school holiday program classes. They also run classes for special events, like Mothers Day and Easter.

Classes are kept small and kids are given everything they need to create a fantastic work of art to take home. Teachers are on hand to guide and instruct, while still making sure kids use their own creativity and express themselves as much as possible.

We attended a “Mummy and Me” class for mother’s day, where an adult was encouraged to stay and assist with their child’s creation. The atmosphere was lovely – a calm and creative way to spend an hour or two!

The school holiday/special event classes provide a range of projects using a variety of mediums, from painting on canvas to sculpture with clay. All materials provided are high quality, and the studios are decked out with all the facilities you need.

Keep an eye on their website for upcoming holiday and special event classes. There are always options for younger kids (2 years and up) and older kids up to the age of 16. Age ranges and duration vary depending on the type of art that the kids will be creating and are clearly stated on the program.
