A little more advanced than Brainstorm SA’s normal Minecraft workshop, “Mod Mayhem” takes advantage of the vast array of weird and wonderful mods that Minecraft has to offer.
Students are able to use incredibly advanced tools and gadgets to design complicated machines and create intricate structures. Mods such as buildcraft, pixlemon and computercraft unlock a whole new perspective of the Minecraft universe and allow kids to push their creativity further than ever. It will allow Minecraft players to build on their skills and create mods for the popular game.
This is a 3 day workshop for ages 10-16 held at Charles Campbell College, Paradise.
Course Content:
- Buildcraft basics
- Computercraft contraptions
- Advanced PVP arena construction
- Collaborative survival mode
- Redstone revisited
- Mod mixing
Prerequisites:
- Students need basic computer skills
- Students need to bring a USB
- Students need to bring packed lunch
