Muddy Hands Festival is back these school holidays!

The grubbiest, muddiest event of the year returns to Golden Fields Reserve on Wednesday 30 September – and it’s free to attend!

Proudly presented by the City of Tea Tree Gully in partnership with Nature Play SA, Muddy Hands Festival is a FREE family-friendly event all about getting kids outside to play and explore the great outdoors.

With two massive mud pits and a whole world of nature-themed activities to explore, kids can get their hands dirty, let their imaginations run wild and discover just how much fun there is to be had outdoors. They’ll make nature masks and crowns, create wild potions, build cubby hideouts, go geocaching for local wildlife, cook up a dirt treat in the mud kitchen and much more!

There’ll also be plenty happening beyond the mud, with children’s entertainment, hands-on educational stalls, lawn games, cultural activities and food vendors serving up tasty treats to keep the whole family fuelled. A pop-up sensory area will also be available as a quiet space for anyone who needs a break from the excitement and a chance to reset.

With plenty to keep little adventurers busy, all that’s left to do is round up the family and get ready to make some seriously muddy memories.
