Murray River Glows: A Celebration of Strength and Unity is a community-oriented event that is a combination of the deferred New Year’s Eve celebration, a proposed lighting event and a community recovery event.
The event will be held at Wharf Hill Reserve in Murray Bridge from 15 – 18 June 2023. The Rural City of Murray Bridge is excited to be able to host this event after the disappointment of having to defer their New Year’s Eve celebration at the end of 2022.
The event will feature a fantastic lighting display, food vans, and live music, with alcohol only available at the Bridgeport Hotel, making the event dry and family-friendly.
Friday events include a half-day workshop by Sophie Thomson at the Murray Bridge Library targeted towards those restarting their garden after the flood. This will be supplemented with displays and smaller wellbeing activities either side of her workshop.
Whether you’re a local or just passing through, you are invited to celebrate and experience the spirit of unity that defines the Murray Bridge community.
