Nature Play SA Forest Festival | Kuitpo Forest | 15 & 16 Apr 2026
Nature Play Forest Festival is returning to Kuitpo Wirra Inparri in April 2026.
Forest Festival is a thoughtfully curated celebration of children, nature, Aboriginal culture, the changing seasons and community. It’s an opportunity to slow down. Adjust your rhythm. Wander with friends. Breathe the crisp forest air. And follow your child’s lead as their curiosity takes them on a meandering path of wonder, joy and creativity.
Forest Festival runs across two days, with single-day tickets available. The program is the same on both Wednesday 15 April and Thursday 16 April, so you can choose the day that suits you best.
The ElectraNet stage, set within the forest, will be the central entertainment hub featuring Kaurna/Narungga Elder, Kauwanu Tamaru and acoustic sets throughout the day. Crowd favourites, the Amazing Drumming Monkeys will also be making an appearance!
Kids of all ages can enjoy 20+ hands-on nature play and creative experiences:
- Evelyn Roth’s Nylon Zoo
- nature crowns
- cubby building
- kids yoga
- potions
- storytime
- kite flying*
- guided nature walks.
Pack a picnic or grab a coffee and a bite to eat from the on-site food trucks: Taste of Paradise SA, Sookii La La Street Food, TaCHs Stroopwafels, Hokey Pokey, Deja Brew Specialty Coffee, and Atomic Food.
Set up your picnic rug and chairs, with food and drinks available for purchase within easy walking distance. You’re also welcome to bring your own picnic to enjoy.
Your ticket includes every activity, so children can roam freely, discover new experiences and join in wherever their curiosity leads.
You’ll be able to step away from the buzz and recharge at the Health Partners Wellbeing Hub – a calming, low-stimulation sanctuary where you can slow down, breathe deeply, and mindfully explore creative loose-parts play while soaking in the beauty of the forest around you. Or wander onto the Health Partners Wellness Trail, an enchanting forest path filled with hidden characters and delightful wellness activities waiting to be discovered along the way.
This year’s Forest Festival has been made possible through the support of Forestry SA, ElectraNet and Green Adelaide.

Please note places are strictly limited for each day of this event and tickets are essential. Tickets must be booked prior to the event (no purchases will be available at the Festival).
- Child $38 (aged 1+)
- Adult $18.50
- Under 12 months are free but require a ticket
Please ensure you book for ALL children AND adults attending. Tickets are valid for one day and are not transferrable (only valid for the day you have booked for).
