Explore the Nature Play Space in The Domain at Millicent

The new nature play space next to the mega playground in The Domain at Millicent was officially opened by Tony Pasin MP and Mayor Des Noll on 31 July 2020.

This State and Federal Government funded project has involved many hours of planning and work from both Council and the community.  The project includes 270 tonnes of local rock, a slippery dip made and installed by local businesses, carvings by local artists, and an indigenous collective meeting place of reflection.

The Mega Playground in Millicent is a colourful, modern adventure play space providing equipment for all age groups and people with varied interests and abilities.  Features include wheelchair access to some of the playground equipment, a Liberty Swing and outdoor exercise equipment.

Play equipment includes multiple slides, swings, double flying fox, climbing nets, monkey bars and spinners.  As well as the play equipment there is a skate park, picnic area, BBQ facilities and surrounding parklands.  The playground is fenced and there are public toilets.
